A traffic sergeant was trying to clear the heavy traffic after a road accident when I heard him telling each driver, ''Don't stop; keep moving.''
This statement has a lot of life philosophy embedded in it. Irrespective of what one achieved or lost in life, we are on a continuous journey and there is no stopping in between. The circumstances we face in this journey teach us profound lessons to make better decisions ahead.
Celebrate achievements like promotions, business contracts, degrees and others but never stop there. Others have also achieved the same or much better than you, so this is the time where you need to focus on pushing your limits. You might have heard the phrase ''Think outside the box.'' My advice is you don't need to think outside the box, you just need to push the walls around the box to release your inner strength. The results can be surprising.
Similarly, if you come across certain ''tragedies'' in your life which are related to your job, business or relationships, accept the challenge and put your energy into something worthwhile. Remind yourself of your goals, learn from your mistakes and move forward for you will never know what is in store for you. Many have faced much bigger hurdles than you and they have always emerged victorious. Why can't you do the same?
This simple life philosophy will reframe all events in your life, give everything a different meaning, and help you focus on and double your efforts to be a superachiever in all domains of your life. Acknowledge and accept change as it would make you stronger and wiser. This will lead you to a level of understanding where you find yourself encouraging others and doing more meaningful work.
So, do not stop in the middle; keep moving.
• Accept challenges and put your energy into something useful
• Learn from your experience; encourage others to do the same
• Focus on and double your efforts to become a superachiever
