There was an incident during my primary school days that I will never forget. After our final exams, there were three of us in class who got the highest general point average. Though we had different grades per subject, we accumulated the same total mark.

This interesting phenomenon is true with our lives. Men are blessed with physical strength, but women physically do more multitasking than men including within family and personal relationships. However, as human beings, both are equal. In the current times, men and women are equal in the professional field.

Each of us is unique and blessed with special talents. Each of us is given a better margin to perform well than the others. Success happens when, upon discovering our potential, we bring out the best in ourselves with vehement efforts and even willingly extend our limits. The trick is knowing where our strengths lie and what our interests are, and focusing on those by looking for ways to hone our skills. We will definitely attain success in the end.

However, if you are still currently seeking your inner calling, then my advice for you to discover your potential is to keep yourself tested in various disciplines and possibilities while staying in your existing job.

You may volunteer for projects which may or may not have any direct relevance to your existing position. Once you start, you may be surprised that it actually is the one you have been looking for quite some time.

Do not live an inane and tremulous professional life. Your success lies in your special ability and your effort to unleash it to its full capacity.

Handy Hints:

• Volunteer for projects that are not related to your position

• Keep yourself tested in various disciplines and possibilities

• Identify your interests and strengths and focus on honing them
