There are hundreds of machines around us – computers, mobile phones, airplanes, manufacturing plants, and more. If I ask you what the best way is of utilizing the full advantage and operability of such products, your answer would surely require referring to the ''manufacturer's guidelines.''
These guidelines provide one with all the essential details regarding the do's and don'ts of using the machine, and also how one can troubleshoot difficulties and problems in the product.
Have you realized that this is because it is only the manufacturer that ''knows'' all about the intricacies of its own creation, and is the best judge and the right resource to follow? On the other hand, if we do not refer to these specific guidelines and try to adjust or change the product based on our own understanding, what are the chances of us ruining the product?
If you own a car, there is a place for petrol and a separate place for oil and water. Now if you determine that you are the ''owner'' of this car since you purchased it, you have all the right to do whatever you want with this car. If you, the owner, interchange putting petrol, oil and water contrary to what is prescribed by the manufacturer, what will happen? Your car will not start, and you run the risk of permanently damaging it.
This is a simple metaphor of life. As a human being with 'superior' faculties, you are equipped with all that you need to succeed. Look inward and see – you have your mental abilities, skills and inclinations, and your own achievements – big and small, to help you achieve your goals of ultimate success, inner peace and happiness. You have your intellect to use to arrive at a solution for every challenge that comes, whether it involves your personal, professional, social or financial life.
Now, having your manufacturer's guidelines in the dashboard of your life, will you still take the risk of driving without referring to it?
• Manufacturer's guidelines must be followed to operate a machine
• Humans are equipped with everything they need to succeed
• We must learn to tap into our own potentials to attain our goals
