If I give you an orange to squeeze, what will come out of it? Surely, it will be orange juice. The same thing happens if you squeeze a watermelon, a mango, a bunch of grapes or any other fruits. You cannot get orange juice from an apple.
This is also true in our personal and professional lives. When we feel pressured or squeezed under certain circumstances, our true personality shows through our reactions and actions. If you fill yourself with negativity, frustration, anger or envy, the same will come out of you. What you feed your mind and emotions is what will emerge from you.
Everything in this world begins with a single idea that is refined by others. For example, the cellular phone in your hand, the car you drive and the laptop you are using all emerged from a simple thought process. If a simple thought process can take a material form, then why not your life? Good or bad, your career in particular and life in general are shaped in direct proportion to what you are thinking.
If you agree that the quality of thoughts define the quality of life, then it is essential for you to safeguard your mind from the stream of negative thoughts, which are like viruses. If we safeguard our computers from viruses, we must also put in the same effort to safeguard our minds from negative things.
Your outer world is a reflection of your inner world. When the fruit tastes bitter, it is not because the tree produced bitter fruits. Sometimes, the roots and soil from where the tree is planted determine that. Therefore, real change starts from inside.
Improve your thought process by rubbing shoulders with positive people and high achievers. They have great ideas and exude positivity. Keep filling yourself with positivity, hope and high expectations so that if you are under pressure, only the good comes out of you.
• Practice the ability to stay calm under immense pressure
• The people we spend time with greatly influence our ideas
• Positive thinking can bring about happiness and fulfillment
