PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Sell OSIsoft software products and services by calling on all existing and prospective customers in the defined territory Build and execute account plans, incorporating fundamental enterprise software sales strategies to deliver accurate sales forecasts Expedite resolution of key customer complaints and problems Leverage OSIsoft global and local partner relationships that can positively influence the purchase of OSIsoft products and services Use available internal resources available in marketing, technical support, and sales support effectively to meet individual sales goals Provide sales mentoring/coaching for less experienced sales reps Provide assistance to the OSIsoft sales team related to global accounts that may exist in the territory Develop and maintain a sufficient knowledge of the industries, trends, and issues, to effectively align and apply OSIsofts technologies to meet customer's business goals Maintain personal knowledge and skill levels with OSIsoft products and sales support applications according to guidelines established by OSIsoft through recurrent annual training within the Company or designated external resources Make written and verbal sales presentations addressing the business needs of the customer to propose technology-based solutions SKILLSExcellent time management Understanding of the process control industry and the process industry which OSIsoft serves Self-motivated and autonomous PI Knowledge Customer-focusedAbility to build and execute an account plan Positive, outgoing, and a good listener Ability to build and execute a territory plan Good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal Good negotiation skillsKNOWLEDGE The combination of experience (know-how) and practical understanding. Relevant direct sales experience with a track record of success Ability to sell based upon business value delivered, not feature/function Ability to know how to get the right information from the right people (both internal and external) Ability to speak to all levels of an organization Degree qualified; preferably in an Engineering field Competitive and motivated by quantitative results Positive and realistic attitude Tireless worker - able to travel extensively, typically 50% or more Has an understanding that sales is a career profession Possesses a strong belief in personal responsibility and individual accountability Self-motivated, strong self-starter and able to work independently with minimal management supervision Strategic thinker and customer focused Has a demonstrated ability to make strong and lasting personal connections Has a demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and establish a clear shared vision
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
