The selected candidate will perform a variety of administrative tasks while providing secondary support to two dynamic group offices and across the division as necessary. Responsibilities will include answering phones, arranging travel and processing expense vouchers, maintaining electronic calendars, coordinating meetings, escorting visitors, maintaining supplies, filing electronic information, processing electronic shopping carts, recruiting coordination, processing release reviews, and other items as needed. A good working knowledge of PC operation, Microsoft Office suite and Outlook is required. Experience with the SAP system is desired. Ability to demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills is essential. Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work reliably in both a cooperative and independent context. Position requires handling of confidential material.RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities. Some traveling required. Able to perform increasingly responsible administrative tasks within a complex organization, with minimal supervision. Ability to demonstrate good judgment, initiative and discretion when identifying and handling sensitive and confidential issues and assignments. Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organization skills to build productive working relationships Advanced PC skills responsibilities include department database updates or creation of monthly reports (Knowledge of Microsoft applications suite, i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook (Visio desirable). Ability to be poised and professional in a demanding environment that requires multi-tasking and competing priorities. Able to establish and maintain relationships with assistants and other personnel who are resources for performing job responsibilities. Ability to work both independently and in a team setting, managing rapidly changing priorities. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions Ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions Ability to communicate both in writing and verbally Ability to plan, organize multi-task and adapt to priority changes Ability to assess and solve problems Skill in information gathering and information monitoring Attention to detail and accuracy skills Ability to be flexible and adapt to an ever-changing environment Proficiency with dictation/transcription systems
