Formulate business plans based on guidelines laid down by Waters Corporation, in consultation with the CBU Head(Consumable Business) & President and set the strategic direction for Indian Columns business.Define and implement annual marketing initiatives aimed at achieving both strategic and tactical goals of the Company. Provide a high quality of technical inputs, training and market insights to field direct & channel sales to support them in achieving annual tasks and creating future potential markets for the Companys product and services portfolio. Successfully adopt the matrix (product - regional sales) approach to maximize customer contact, awareness and business growth.ResponsibilitiesIdentify present and future markets in line with the product portfolio and development direction to sustain the Companys growth and profitability. Obtain and evaluate market feedback on the Companys products and services and provide inputs to relevant development and support groups. Evaluate price perception of market and provide a feedback to the Management on optimum pricing to ensure a healthy market share as well as profitability.Gather information on and evaluate competitive products, policies and strategies to refine the Company s sales strategy in each market segment.5. Plan and implement marketing initiatives (product seminars, workshops etc.) to facilitate high visibility, market share and profitability for the Company s range of products and services.6. Obtain feedback on marketing initiatives and refine strategies to maximize impact. 7. Customize brochures, application notes and other material to appeal to the needs of the local market.Provide regular feedback to the CBU Head & President about market developments and new business opportunities Gather information on regional events, scientific conferences and participate in them to ensure a high visibility for the Companys range of products. 10. Maintain a healthy customer database to ensure effective mail campaigns. 11. Conduct regular training programs to improve technical abilities and selling skills of field sales personnel. QualificationsMsc. / PH. D in chemistry, Bio chemistry or related science.- At least 12+ years work experience in sales / Marketing Exposure in Columns (Chromatography)
Degree: M.Sc. (Science) | Ph.D. (Doctorate)
