Roles and ResponsibilityResponsibilities & Key TasksPlanning? Creates a distribution business plan that outlines sales strategies and targets? Range construction and management for distribution in close coordination with sales sourcing and product management? Product forecasting for product requirement and timing? SIS development? Exploring and developing non conventional channels/new channels for distribution? Provides annual sales budgets that are regularly updated? Plan the communication/relationship building with trade partners through feedback sessions, festive communications etc? Plan the season fill- ins and related trade marketing activities (schemes, POS etc)? Plan an integrated retail package of visuals, signage?s, fixtures etc through a structured categorization of MBOs?.Financial? Maintains healthy stock turn ratio and clean inventories? Ensure timely liquidation of obsolete /slow moving merchandise? Budget planning for distribution- costs and revenue, margin planning? Support DSO targetSystems and Processes? Establishes and maintains sales processes, forecast process and financial information process? Designing KPI?s for TSI?s, a structured induction programme, input into the recruitment and training programme for the same.? Provide market intelligence to the management team, focusing on market trends and shifts, competitors & customer information, etc.? Design and implement an information collection process that allows us to understand distributor and his MBO?s ROI and costs and spot opportunities for adidas.? Develop a new product feedback process? Manages interdepartmental relationships with all other departments.? Focus on Speed and accuracy Operations? Direct control on distribution sales activities, polices and plans.? Managing timing and quality of the order entry process (preorders and reorders).? Implement and recommend systems and processes that allow us to capture all sales opportunities.? Recommend and implement relevant sales PoliciesHuman Resource Management? Provides strong leadership to the entire team and build a development track for high performers? Generates a high level of teamwork between all Departments.? Input in incentive structures for the distribution team that allows us to motivate and retain best sales people. Training and Development? Ensures that all Department employees understand the role of Sales, and branding? Actively participates in all departmental level training and development initiative & activities. Communicates Sales information and initiatives to entire company in a timely fashion.? Ability to deliver on the job training to sales staff.
