To implement the Sport Specialist Excellence strategy To ensure the best possible Net Sales result by setting clear targets and action points; constant tracking of results; analysis of risks & new business opportunities To develop the overall strategy for the sport specialist account portfolio based on Global and Market strategies jointly with the Sales Director and get sign off by the MD To ensure the Sport specialist organization is applying available Companys Group standards and best practices in daily work To work closely with all relevant Marketing and Sales functions, ensuring effective and efficient know-how transfer and communication towards the Specialist team and vice versa To group customers, set objectives, strategies, tactics, allocate resources and ensure translation into action plans respecting the framework set by the customer portfolio strategies To review, challenge and sign of S-AFBs and S-StAPs To ensure a coordinated and efficient sell-in process, usage of sell-in tools and the correct negotiation and implementation of trade terms To accompany the FARs to visits, ensuring store visit checklist guidelines are respected, store audits are conducted and train on VM, WSP/WOM, RSM re-order enforcement, POS etc. To be the voice of the Specialists within the area/zone/country To ensure execution of the Specialist CSS and track results To lead team and foster performance culture within his team To develop, train and retain key talents To manage all reports as an integrated team by setting team objectives, targets and guidelines To ensure smooth cooperation of all direct reports along all interfaces To measure progress on defined KPIs (e.g. DSO = days sales outstanding) To monitor all reports To monitor and report on customers and competitors sell-through and activities, and propose/initiate/take actions To provide realistic plans and forecasts on customer performance To ensure customer compliance with agreementsKey Relationships Global Centre of Excellence (CoE) Wholesale Markets Sport Performance Product/Brand Marketing, Range Management, Sports Marketing Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, Sales CoordinationKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Sports Specialist Manager with proven track record of successfully managing Sports Specialist in a large sales organization Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. communication, negotiation) Proven methodological skills (e.g. strategy development, story lining) High degree of commercial and business acumen knowledge Strong initiative, decision taking and determination Fluent in written and spoken local language and English is a must. Skills and abilities in other language are an added plus
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
