Application of management accounting principles and tools in order to achieve wealth creation for clients in accordance with Value Based Management approaches.Formation and maintenance of client relationships.Identify client needs and value added services that we can provide to a client.Provision of on-the-job training for other colleagues as required.Monitor capacity/productivity budget vs actual monthly. Contribute to discussion on team productivity performance and other KPIs.Demonstrate an understanding of business structures and intra group transfers.Contribute to the development of firms business strategy.Specific Responsibilities for Job Designation Preparation of financial statements for Senior Analyst/Senior Team Leader/Manager review, for a range of clients, using consolidated accounting skills and applying relevant accounting and presentation standards. Identify franking account issues such as franking deficit tax and penalties. Identify business performance issues and ability to identify key indicators. Begin to identify client needs and value added services that we can provide to a client. Prepare sophisticated management reports eg Netsuite, strategic focus and WIN forecast. Analysis of financial statements for a range of clients, addressing concerns and issues for consideration. Preparation and review of BAS/IAS returns. Preparation of interim financial accounts and providing tax planning proposals. Preparation and analysis of management reports including COGS and break-even analysis. Prepare, analyse and review accounts, income tax returns, company annual returns, Business Activity Statements, Fringe Benefit Tax returns and notices of assessment. Presentation of financial data in a range of formats appropriate to the client's situation (cash flow, sale purpose accounts etc). Assistance in the monthly billings process, including preparation of draft invoices, write-off analysis and review of Work In Progress reports. Any other accountabilities or duties as directed by your superiors which are within the limits of the employee's skill, competence and training.
