Role Description Responsible for the detailed analysis of all financial related MIS (volumes, values and spend) for the Firm's extensive agent bank and Financial Market Infrastructure (FMI) network across all lines of business (Banking, Investor Services, Markets etc.). This reporting will take the form of internal (to GMI) metrics (both scheduled and ad-hoc) as well as supporting a number of firmwide initiatives, most notably the Broker, Clearing and Exchanges (BCE) project. The individual will also work with the wider Global GMI team in New York, UK, India, Hong Kong, and Singapore as well as the Expense Management Unit (EMU), based in BangaloreGeneral Key ResponsibilitiesMonth on month variance analysis providing commentary on drivers for any increase / decreases in spend, including fee types and underlying account detailUnderstand the pricing structure by FMI and across similar FMIs (with GMI guidance) and record impact of tariff changes whether up or down and identify / address inefficiencies resulting in additional spendDeep dive review of FMI internal fees to highlight potential saves through improved efficiencyFull tiering review highlight any Agents / fee types in top tier and flag as renegotiation item include in monthly ongoing reviewConduct a review of LOB mapping of FMI fees, highlighting gaps and working with the relevant billing team / business to closeAssist with review / collation of FMI exchange spendSpecific FMI and / or fee type deep dives as directed - Membership fees review FMIsAssist with various fee enhancement initiatives as directedThe individual must be able to work in a high pressure, multicultural and international environment.Qualifications Bachelors degree preferable in Finance, economics, other business related degrees or related experience. Experience in risk, finance and regulatory a plus. Strong analytical / quantitative skills related to the management and analysis of large amounts of data, with attention to detail a must. Advanced user of Excel including pivot tables and other Microsoft Office products such as Access, Word, and PowerPoint; Knowledge in Access SQL and Excel VBA, as well as SharePoint Design and management; . Critical thinking skills to conduct root cause analysis and driving solutions to address identified gaps and issues; Proven communication and presentation skills;
