Engages in trouble shooting and fixing of incidentsProvides estimates for effort and schedule for assigned tasks/development change requestsMakes incident updates in RemedyWorks across all Finance/Manufacturing modules as needed.Ensures quality of delivery in accordance with the plan adhering to the standard practices and guidelines.Ensures sign-off on all major system deliverables by stakeholdersEngages in development, design and testing and documentation of FRICEW (Forms, reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions and workflows) components.Performs peer review of deliverables. Makes recommendations to team.Works independently and or with team membersProvides on call support and flexible to work in 2 shiftsSuggests and builds re-usable components and looks for continuous improvement opportunities.Works collaboratively with other team members to achieve team and organization goals.Develops an understanding of both technology and business concepts and is able to articulate business processes.Reviews strategy and contributes in preparing one for team.Consults with customers and IT managers to develop, define, and prioritize work assignments and work deliveryESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Limit yourself to 8-12 statements)*Will manage incidents/requests and changes by troubleshooting and bug-fixing/development of Interfaces, Reports, Conversions, Extensions, Workflow, Forms using Oracle development technologies.Will trouble-shoot and provide expertise as a Production support specialist.Will deliver incident, request and change within EATON specified SLAs and updates to stakeholders in timely mannerWill provide production support as needed to address custom and standard development issuesWill deliver on small projects/requests for development of Interfaces, Reports, Conversions, Extensions, Workflow, and Forms using Oracle development technologies.Will continually learn new advanced development technologies and programming techniques to provide value to our team and business by enhancing self-knowledge and capability.Will provide excellent quality code as well as excellent documentation including unit test scripts and results. Will maintain zero impact through regression testing in the global environmentIn-depth knowledge of Oracle Application manufacturing and financials modules with multi org structure including OTC, PTP including financial impact and sub ledger functionality. Knowledge on Financials services.Will mentor, train and guide other members on the support teamAbility to use and update knowledge repositoryWill maintain a global mindset during the support process to ensure that the development/fixes will have no impact on global functionality.Participate in improvements to applications and processes in order to decrease incidents and maintain quality. (Demonstrates Incident and Problem Management Expertise)Participate in continuous improvements on in-scope support initiatives.Participate in application upgrades by testing and documenting functionality in conjunction with Functional analysts.Stays current with Technology trends in Information Technology advancementsProven competency in communication, presentation, training, documentation and supportProficient in estimating and scheduling tasks for selfAbility to communicate directly with the users, verbal and writtenBasic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)Bachelors degree in a technical discipline; related to systems and computer technology and minimum 3+ years of IT experience.MCA/BCA with relevant experience in Oracle Apps Finance can also beTotal Experience 4 - 6 years in Oracle Apps technical expertise (RICE,PL/SQl)Must have 2+ years of experience in Oracle 11i/R12 EBS (AP, PO, INV, OM, AR, GL, FA)Level of Analysis, Customer Focus and Business Acumen*Must have extensive knowledge of trouble shooting Production scenariosGathers and understands business requirements.Must have language proficiency in English.Ability to take direction and work independentlyBuilds rapport with the business process team to discuss current state and future plansLevel of System and IT Knowledge*Must have PL/SQL, RDF, BI Publisher, APIs , OAF and Workflow skillsDesirable AME and UCMHighly desired - Expertize in Oracle Workflow, OA Framework and other APPS specific technologies.Must have a working understanding of typical performance review competencies.o Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.o Must have strong interpersonal skills.o Must be collaborative team player.o Must demonstrate high drive for results.o Must possess ability to deal with ambiguity and to adapt to changing business needso Requires an excellent understanding of key business processes.Requires a broad knowledge of information technology capabilities and characteristics, software languages and applications, data base technology, communications hardware/software, standards and procedures and data security techniques.Knowledge of Oracle Apps 11i Functionalities and Integration in one or more of the following Oracle applications or modules Financials AR, AP, GL, FA, PA,. Oracle experience should be more than 3 Years.Basic Project Management Skills.Must have knowledge/understanding of at least few of the following functional areas
