The technical Analyst will be involved in software development activities, interacting with stakeholders, providing timely updates, following ProLaunch (SDLC) processes, highlighting issues / risks on timely basis and continuously improving development processes / standards.The position requires demonstration of strong technical skills, good Customer focus and relationship management skills coupled with excellent written & verbal communication skills to work directly with customers in the business and other IT groups (including Oracle). This role would require strong learning and organization agility.The incumbent will participate in requirement review, technical development & reviews (create UML diagrams if required), code development, code debugging, peer code reviews, writing unit test cases, unit and/or peer unit testing, integration testing, support integration testing, UAT support, production release and support, PMO review, audit, documenting and/or adopting lessons learned. The person will demonstrate skills to work independently and own complex project responsibilities assigned to him / her to take them through successful deliveries. Along with individual contributor, he or she will work with different capacity or roles like Project Lead (technical) on simple to complex projects. Must have ability to deal with ambiguity, work independently, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, and create innovative solutions; confidently take risks as necessary according to business need and changing situations to delivered quick, accurate solutions as per customer expectation. The person will actively follow development processes, change management processes and quality management processes. Identify opportunities for Continuous improvement and drive the sameThe person needs to demonstrate expertise and capability to work on applications that have interfaces with other applications / systems. He or She will also demonstrate expertise in relevant technologies / tools/ system (with versions as appropriate that are being used at Eaton).Coach and mentor the junior team (fresher) members as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 2.List the essential functions (i.e. key responsibilities with expected end results), which must be accomplished in order to fulfill the purpose of your position as described above.Will assist in project implementations around the globe by development/ enhancement of Interfaces, Reports, Conversions, Extensions, Workflow using Oracle standard processes, tools and frameworks.Will provide production support as needed for the existing deployed custom componentsChange Management Will participate in CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings to advice on solutions to needed requirements. Customizations should be avoided in favor of out-of-the-box solutions. If solutions are to be developed from scratch, scalability and reusability of those solutions is the key.Learning Skills - Will continually learn new advanced modules, functionality and tools to provide value to our business by enhancing self-knowledge and capability.Will provide excellent quality code as well as excellent documentation including unit test scripts and results. Maintain zero impact through regression testing on global environmentConsults with customers and IT managers to develop, define, and prioritize work assignments and work delivery. Demonstrate excellent customer focus.Work collaboratively with other IT and business personnel to deliver projects on-time and within budget.In-depth knowledge of Oracle Application manufacturing and financials modules with multi org structure including Oracle to Cash, Procure to pay transaction cycles including financial impact and sub ledger functionality. Knowledge on Financials services.Provides an understanding of both technology and business concepts and is able to articulate business processes. Ensure compliance with Change Management standards and guidelines.Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)Requires a four year college degree in computer science or related degree with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience.Must have good communication and interpersonal skills with experience of direct customer involvement and requirements analysisMust have extensive techno-functional knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10 / R12Good team player, self-motivating and committed with an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadline.Must possess ability to deal with ambiguity and to adapt to changing business needs.Good collaborating style and interpersonal skills.Must have excellent customer relationship management skills Must have strong working experience on ;Oracle Technology TrackStrong knowledge on SQL, SQL Plus & PL/SQLOracle Forms and Form PersonalizationOracle Reports, BI/XML Publisher and Good to have Label Printing (Loftware, Sentinel, Codesoft)Oracle Work Flow / Business EventOracle AlertsShell Script / Unix commandsJSP and OAF customization ( any knowledge on this is added advantage)Strong knowledge of data conversion and Interface/Integrations with all open interfaces & public APIsOracle Application Object Library (AOL)Oracle Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) or JTF Framework ( any knowledge on this is added advantage).
Degree: MCA/ PGDCA | ME/ M.Tech./ MS (Engg/ Sciences)

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering) | BCA (Computer Application)
