Application Development Quality and Support Customer Facing Center of Excellence (ADQSCOE) is an integral part of the global IT organization with a charterto conceive, deliver and sustain solutions that enhance top line growth and earnings. To support this objective the ADQSCOE leverages tools such as Siebel Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Oracle Configurator, mobile applications, portals etc. ADQSCOE works across both Industrial and Electrical sectors and the key areas of focus areIncrease of Sales Effectiveness for Sales Team - Provide our sales organizations, and channel partners with tools & applications to perform their work more efficientlyDevelop a common strategy that supports multiple and localized go-to market product, service, and segment models using a shared customer-facing infrastructure for pricing, quoting, capture and release of orders that are orchestrated across our strategic ERP systemsBetter Understanding of our Customers - Provide transparency to our customers by enhancing customer self-service applications which make it easier to do business with EatonEnhanced Customer Touch Points- Introduce and enhance mobile applications as an additional way to reach and capture customersSolution and detailed oriented with extensive experience delivering Siebel-based solutions. Versatile, flexible and have held roles such as Technical/Application Analyst. Possess in-depth knowledge in all aspects of the development life cycle including analysis, design, testing and development.Participates in gathering and translating business requirements and specifications into Siebel technical programming specifications. Creates well-written and reliable Siebel application programs and business objects. Performs unit testing and documentation activities on Siebel application. Communicates and collaborates with team members and internal customers.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Limit yourself to 8-12 statements)*2.List the essential functions (i.e. key responsibilities with expected end results) which must be accomplished in order to fulfill the purpose of your position as described above.A.Communications Ability*.Communicates effectively with both technical and business personnel to gather requirements, communicate expectations, identify solutions, and create action plans.B.Analysis*Demonstrates working knowledge of Siebel technical solutions and technology. Appraises multiple alternatives and presents pros and cons of each for team decision-making.C.Design*Translates business, customer, and supplier requirements into physical, logical and technical representations, allowing customers to understand how the proposed design will function to meet their needs in the Siebel solution suite.D.Construction*Demonstrates proficiency in Siebel platform/tools. Produces programming deliverables (code, documentation, services, components, processes) that are of consistently good quality and operate as expected.Designs, develops and supports Siebel solutions. Siebel Experience includes full lifecycle implementation of the technical components of a Siebel solution. Specific Siebel Application experience could include Siebel Contact Center, Siebel Sales, Siebel Self-Service, Siebel Customer Order Management, and Siebel PRM.Skills include requirements definition, Siebel application design and prototyping, Siebel development(Configuration , Scripting , Workflows), Open UI, Siebel Mobile, CTI, BIP Reports, DBs, CRMDT, Testing and CTIEIM Designs, develops and supports all Siebel data conversions (EIM) activities. Skills include analyzing legacy data models, creating data architecture and approach, creating data profiles, data model diagrams, and data mappings in Siebel using ETL, PL SQL, and Siebel GUI tools.EAI Designs, develops and supports integration of Siebel with other CRM applications. Skills include Siebel EAI / Siebel EIM development, integration of Siebel with other applications via programmatic interfaces, Integration Objects, ETL, Siebel Tools.E.Testing & Implementation*Creates and executes test plans for task and unit level programming deliverables. Creates test data to prove all test cases. Executes and documents results of test plans to ensure modules will operation properly in the production environment. Implements changes in compliance with Eaton practices for change management.F.Production Support & Customer Service*As required, recognizes recurring production problems and suggests containment and permanent corrective actions. Provides timely, responsive support and service to internal and external customers so that the IT / business relationship is viewed positively.G.Other*Demonstrates accountability for his/her own work products. Achieves basic level of proficiency with Siebel development tools. Travels as needed to fulfill project tasks. Able to Mentor junior team members, and guide third party development resources.Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE*Requires a 4-year college degree in Computer Science or a related field.Requires 3-6 years hands on experience in Siebel programming techniques and language(s).version 7.8 or aboveRequires 2-3 years hands on experience in Support with theSiebel application 8.0 or above and Siebel ToolsExperience working with cross functional applications and infrastructure teams and implementing solutionsAbility to work collaboratively. Good written and oral communications skills.Good knowledge on Version Control applications, integrated with Siebel.Knowledge on OUI, CRMDT, SOAP UI, STUBs
Degree: MCA/ PGDCA | ME/ M.Tech./ MS (Engg/ Sciences)

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering) | BCA (Computer Application)
