Roles and ResponsibilityJob PurposeSupport the America's sales growth by developing architectural drawings of new stores and to update the existing stores with new product launch.To Support AST Sales growth through the Launch of new Company RDG/DOBS/SIS storesThe assistant designer is involved in all aspects and projects in the Center of Design Excellence and supports a team of architects in transforming ideas into drawings.Assistant Designer will design the layout and will take necessary approvals internally and externally and then will handover the basic drawings to The Interior Designer for completing the construction set. Team work competency is required here to complete the projects on time.Process of Delivery 1)To make Construction Set of the Stores including Plans, Sections & Elevations.2) Sectional Details of various elements required for construction3)Create complete construction set and ensure the opening dates are met by delivering drawings and information in time according the Team lead's planning.To enable Americas Sales growth through planning the placement of new launched Company Products in existing portfolio of RDG/DOBS/SIS Stores,Every year we launched lots of new products to meet the needs of market etc.This goal is an assistant designer's primary role. Based on Global plannogram from DRD, This person will create the plannogram for Americas stores, based on that he will create the drawings and order lists for the execution. Delivery Process1 ) To plan product placement at all locations and take approval internally and externally.2) To make Required Plans of all existing Stores of each new product or each update. For e.g. Current & Update plans.3) To Make Standard Detailed elevations/ Plannograms of Walls with new & existing products.4) To make Part Lists of Each elevations including No. of Products to be Ordered in each Stores.5) Compilation of vendor order in excel sheets6) Think about the short possible ways of doing updates7)Create updated floor plans, elevations and part list and ensure the launch dates are met by delivering drawings and information in time according the Team lead's planning.Standardisation of Fixture Library We have a standard fixture library for all portfolio of stores. This library is having all the standrad fixtures like walls, cash desk, window display etc. It is going to be used by all of the team members. It is very critical to update this library from time to time. Beacuse with the launch of new products etc we keep developing new fixtures. Assistant designer will be responsible for this work.Deliver process 1) Keep updating all fixtures as per the launches every year2)Inform Team members about the updationKnowledge and ExperienceThe assistant designer requires a specialization in retail store construction, with the ideal candidate having experience in working with high-end international retailers. Otherwise Architectural offices, Design Offices, Shop Fitters
Additional Degree: B.Arch. (Architecture)
