Primary ResponsibilitiesIdentifying and recruiting agents in the respective area to build retail business Induction / training of each acquired Agent on product and processes Ensuring IRDA certification / license of each agent Ensure completion of Branch Budget and drive the growth of business Develop and nurture relationships with Agency Channel partners to yield a productive relationship Provide end to end solutions to Agents thereby ensuring that service level commitments are met Initiate cross selling and rollover business thereby providing value addition to the channel partners Focus on Conversion of Renewals as per organisation objectives Ensure LOB vise budget completion and non motor / motor ratio business is maintained as per guidelines of the organisation Keep continuous track on make model LOB vise LR within the stipulated guidelines of the organisation Balance agency channel's portfolio within various classes and ensure profitability Manage productivity mix to ensure that the cost of acquisition is within the budgeted levels Regularly monitor and control cover notes Ensure constant updating of agent's knowledge on new products and underwriting policiesCompetenciesSelf motivated and self starterGood communication skills and interpersonal skillsUnderstand insurance productsClient acquisition and retention skillsCustomer orientation
Degree: M.Com. (Commerce) | M.Pharm. (Pharmacy) | M.Sc. (Science) | MA (Arts) | MBA/ PGDM | MCA/ PGDCA
