As Assistant Manager - Credit, you will manage and ensure that the hotel achieves optimum performance and achieves the required credit targets. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standardsEnsure the timely credit collections of all outstanding paymentsManage credit meetings with key stakeholdersMonitor credit limits of all outstanding accountsAdminister credit processes and policies for other departments in the hotelWork with the Finance Manager to build effective working relationships with internal and external customersEnsure the accuracy of all charges and credits to the various accountsFollow up on all overdue accounts and send to debt collectors, as requiredManage all account queries and disputesMaintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel areas and other homeworkers and be familiar with any Homeworking PolicyAct in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when requiredServe your role and Team in an environmentally-conscience mannerWhat are we looking for?As Assistant Manager - Credit serving Hilton Worldwide brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that followRelevant degree, in Finance/Accounting or related business discipline, from an academic institutionPrevious experience in a high volume credit control function within a hotel environmentEffective negotiation skillsAbility to communicate firmly and clearly with internal and external customersAbility to develop strong relationshipsIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctionsPrevious experience in the hospitality industryPrevious experience as a Credit Manager
Additional Degree: BA (Arts) | B.Com. (Commerce) | B.Pharm. (Pharmacy) | B.Plan. (Planning) | B.Sc. (Science) | BBA/ BBM/ BBS | BCA (Computer Application) | Diploma-Other Diploma | B.Ed. (Education) | BHM (Hotel Management)
