Job DescriptionMonitors competitors activities and assists in marketing intelligenceRefers sales leads to appropriate personnel within the The Lalit Hotels GroupSells to new, existing and prospective customers considering goals set forth in the sales strategy, negotiating optimum rate for the benefit of the businessServices existing business through management of account basesSell all facets of the hotelManage the corporate head office and the preferred hotel history for that companyDevelop and maintain a regular pattern of sales calls, meeting with principals of target marketProvides direction on, and conducts market research and analysisDevelops and maintains contact with business generators, meeting and convention planners, visitors/convention bureau, travel agents, tour operators, airlines, corporate accounts, Government Departments and other producers closely allied to Hotel businessBuilds profile within local market place through attendance at various events and local market placeConduct client interviewsEntertain clientsPlan and conduct familiarization tours and site inspectionsTravel when required to promote the hotel and develop potential businessMaintain regular contact with the LALIT hotels in your region and the regional reservation officeMonitors existing business and inputs into sales strategy meetings to maximise businessGrows existing business and establishes and pursues leads which will develop businessInterfaces with operations on a timely basisInitiates and prepares tenders for businessAssesses sales and marketing dataAssists with the preparation of new products and servicesAssists in the evaluation of sales and marketing activitiesAnalyses sales mix and likely impact on hotel goalsImplement direction from Head of Sales and Marketing and Regional ManagersLiaison with advertising agencyStock control of collateralCollateral inputExecute advertising/creative briefs in a timely manner.
Degree: MBA/ PGDM

Additional Degree: B.Com. (Commerce)

Experience: 3-5
