Rolesand Responsibilities Business/Department ObjectivesEnhance and improve the Risk policies using statistical techniques to optimize business growth and profits by minimizing the lossesCore ResponsibilitiesSupport tactical and strategic Risk Analytics projects for Citis Retail Services Group in the USPartner with Risk Management Policy teams and Operations amongst others to support the Interaction Management model to improve risk processes and policies throughout the customer lifecycleApply innovative analytical techniques to customer and transaction data to build risk mitigation strategies and process enhancementsEffectively provide updates and communicate key initiatives to senior risk managementAnalyze tests and performance using SAS and decision tree methodologies (CHAID/CART)Evaluate effectiveness of current policies and strategiesInteract and communicate effectively and build strong working relationships on an ongoing basis with business partnersContribute in center management activities in Mumbai CoEDay-to-Day ResponsibilitiesSupport the expanding challenges and complexities of the interaction model among our customers and risk processes and policies throughout the customer lifecycleFocus more holistically and deeply on enhancing effectiveness and identifying/realizing efficiencies in our policiesand processesClearly communicate analysisPresentations to both technical and non-technical personnel are required to be made frequently as part of the jobProvide insight into the data through MIS and deeper analyticsSummarize analytic reports into presentations and share analyses and reports with senior leadershipWork efficiently in a matrix environment balancing between both business and functional interactions and prioritiesFinancial/BudgetaryNAIndividual Contributor (IC)/Managerial ICKey DeliverablesClearly formulate analytical hypothesisPerform ad-hoc analysis to support the hypothesis, communicate results clearly, and understand causeand effect relationshipsSupport approved strategies through implementationAbility to manage multiple prioritiesEffectively interact with business partners across functions including risk policy, credit, fraud and customer service operations, technology, product management amongst othersRequiredEducationBachelor s or Masters degree in a quantitative discipline Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, StatisticsExperience4+ years related work experience required, with significant academic experience/contributionSkillsStrong understanding of Credit policiesStrong analytical skills in conducting sophisticate analysis using bureau/vendor data, customer performance data and marketing data to solve business problemsGood programming skills in advanced SAS and SQL in mainframe, UNIX and PC environmentsHighly proficient in Excel/pivot tables and PowerPointGood written EnglishOtherExposure to project/process managementStrong communication and presentation skills targeting a variety of audiencesAbility to work with cross functional teamsCreate and sustain a network of strong client relationshipsFlexibility in approach and thought processAbility to work effectively across portfolio risk policy teams and functional areas teams Strong influencing, negotiating, and facilitation skillsAnalytical mindsetPreferredSkillsCredit card industry experience especially in an analytics or policy role is preferredProgramming skills in RExposure to machine learning techniquesSome policy writing experience
