Job Details

1. Anticipate guest s needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates.2. Align working practices and conduct with Hotel Name Vision, consistently strive to meet and exceed the expectations of both internal and external guests.3. Uphold the Starwood Cares culture by demonstrating the Star Service Standards at all times to guests and fellow associates.4. Understand and adhere to relevant workplace health and safety standards. Personally ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and related Hotel and Starwood Policies.5. Co-ordination of all aspects of the departments operation to ensure that the services of the Department are delivered to guests or internal customers with the aim of exceeding guest expectations and in accordance with Brand s Standards.6. Supervise the Reservation Sales Agents in day to day operations.7. Undertake effective room reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basic.8. Produce the daily, weekly and monthly reports as required in a timely and accurate manner.9. Conduct competitor analysis including market share, rates, new projects and developments. 10. Maintain and manage the update of information and reports in the On-Line Revenue Plan. 11. Assist, as required, with the development of the hotel Marketing Plan and the Budget Plan. 12. Conduct monthly focus group sessions and present recommendations to the Executive committee. 13. Monitor, supervise and provide necessary training for accurate tracking of data. 14. Assist in development of packages. 15. Undertake market research projects as required. 1. Attend Department Head & Sales meetings and disseminate information to Reservation associates.18. Coordinate and conduct regular Revenue Management / Forecast meetings with the General Manager, Director of Sales and Marketing, Finance, Rooms, and other relevant departments.19. Analyze and respond to guest feedback, guest satisfaction and Associate satisfaction information, and give a positive commitment to continuous improvement of product and performance.20. Develop and supervise Guest History Program.21. Prepare working schedules and annual leave schedules for the reservation associates within the budget, business expectations and guidelines of the Labor Code.22. Align management style, working practices and conduct with Hotel Name Hotel, Corporate Values and policies. To comply within Brand s Code of Conduct at all times.23. Completely understand, implement and ensure adherence to Local Labor Laws and Brand policies.24. Be well versed and knowledgeable of Brand Fire and Evacuation procedures as well as health and safety requirements in the Workplace. Ensure associates are aware of their duty of care as determined by legislation and that they maintain complete familiarity.25. Undertake additional duties as requested by the DOSM and Hotel Management.26. Maximise rooms and food & beverage yield.27. Maintain and manage hotel data in the Property Management System (i.e. OPERA), Starlink and the Global Distribution System.28. Maximize conversion rates and upselling opportunities by effective management of Reservation Sales Agents, ensuring these associates are trained and motivated.29. Deliver enthusiastic, positive, helpful and respectful client communication, ensuring precise and effective information transfer.30. Respond to client queries within 24 hours of initial contact.31. Ensure recovery calls are dealt with in an appropriate manner.REQUIREMENTSPrior experience necessary.1. Must be able to fluently speak, read, write and understand language(s) used in the workplace.2. Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.3. Knowledge of the city and market segmentation for business4. Require Knowledge on Delphi Catering System, Fidelio, Word Processing, Excel5. Convey a high level of understanding of the importance of attending to details.6. Ensure accuracy by verifying work against standards or input of others.7. Take extra steps to ensure work was completed8. Practice Starwood Cares9. Actively participate as a team player to ensure unit cohesion10. Pursue increased responsibility11. Maintain a high level of output and quality regardless of the task load. Take initiative and act quickly to deliver projects in a professional manner.12. Take action to ensure overall success of department / organization.13. Strong Analysis /Statistical Ability, Be able to detect and forecast patterns.
