Territory KnowledgeShould have worked for a minimum period of 5+ years in around Bangalore in the area of Sales, preferably in Test & Measurement, Instrumentation and Hand Tools.Customer/Product KnowledgeShould have a core experience of direct sales (directly handling customers) in the arena of Industrial sales.Communication skillsShould have excellent communication skillsShould be fluent in the local languageDeveloping annual/ ongoing measurable sales plans and strategies to achieve and exceed set targets.Develop, implement and control a call cycle procedure that allows the highest possible contact with customers, potential and existing, to achieve set objectives and targets.Control of expenses, both personal and for the sales team, within the defined sales budget.Ongoing development of ways for the team to work more efficiently and effectively.Responsibility for annual appraisals.Generation of a monthly and quarterly sales report.Ensuring the ongoing use of Sales Logix CRM software across the team as well as responsibility for the integrity of the inputted data.Monitoring the delivery of RS Value Proposition to customers.Providing ongoing team training, development and mentoring. Provide strategic managerial input and feedback to management.Implement and conduct field territory audits to ensure and maintain the accuracy and timeliness of all field administration and reporting systems.Facilitate the speedy and satisfactory resolution of all referred customer enquiries and complaints in the region.Traveling to various territories with the objective to achieving the above.Achievement of territory monetary and growth targets.Development of an efficient, cohesive and results delivering team.Increase in territory new-new and new existing business.Increase in territory average order value, breadth of purchase and average order frequency.Accurate, relevant and timely reports. Informed decision making.Resources effectively used and managed.Development of plans and their objectives achieved within set out times.Synergy/ Database integrity
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
