Business Unit OverviewThe Global On Boarding team is responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of all On-Boarding activities within BlackRock, across the region. The primary focus of the team is to establish the framework required to deliver a best in class client service experience. The team works with the numerous internal and external stakeholders, namely the Global Client and Portfolio Management groups, to ensure the successful delivery of these events.There are various sub-groups within On Boarding Portfolio Data Management Structures portfolio data in core systems, in line with the account objectives, to ensure that client assets can be accurately managed and serviced. Inter alia, the team undertakes a governance role, validating that approved portfolio data models are followed.Implementation Management Works with sponsors, clients and all relevant stakeholders to understand requirements, develop solutions and safely implement portfolios. This team is made up of both Design and Launch Leads.Data Oversight and Control Ensures data oversight within the Blackrock systems and works closely with Data Managers to ensure compliance with the Data Integrity. This team is responsible for data within Portfolio & Client Data base table and develops control systems.Client Core Data Structures Client data within the CORE client relationship management (CRM) systems, to ensure accurate single source of client data flows to the downstream systems. This team closely works with the Client Business Group.Regulatory Reporting Groups prime responsibility is to ensure compliance with various Regulatory requirements within the Onboarding framework. Coordinates with various regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with various regulatory requirements like Dodd Frank, EMIR, LEI registration, Tax Forms, etcJob Purpose/BackgroundWe are looking to fill an Associate/ VP position in the Portfolio Data Management, located in Gurgaon. The primary responsibility of this role is to capture new portfolio requirements in the suite of systems that drive the investment process. In addition to the day-to-day portfolio setup and maintenance responsibilities, this position is expected to participate in projects and initiatives that strive to meet the firm s business needs and increase efficiency and productivity in the global teams processesKey ResponsibilitiesManaging the process of operational set-up of all new BlackRock clients and funds. Including operational portfolios, test, and portfolios used for revenue and AUM, in Delta, AIS and ADAMImplementing amendments to existing client / fund mandates and the related portfoliosCo-ordinating amongst the wide range of internal and external parties (including Sales and Investment teams) that need to be involved in taking on new clients or changing client mandates . Effectively taking responsibility for as Launch Lead or project management for the activity.Source a suite of information for population into ADAM and achieving sign-offs from relevant parties within the internal organisationData integrity of all portfolio data, accuracy, exception monitoring. Supporting management reporting.The role of an Associate is of an Subject Matter Expertand may require leading a group of 3-5 Analysts
