The Group Strategy & Business Management team provides business management support to Client Solutions on a global basis. Client Solutions is a growing and fast-paced business and efficient execution of business management responsibilities is key to future growth. The team is responsible for facilitating the development and execution of business strategy and for driving an effective risk management culture. The team will consist of the Client Solutions Global COO, based in New York, EMEA COO, based in London, a Vice President Business Manager, also based in London and this position in Gurgaon. Working within the Client Solutions India team with responsibilities aligned to the Group Strategy & Business Management team will provide the successful candidate with deep insight into Client Solutions business and include exposure to senior business stakeholders. You will be expected to contribute to the planning, coordination and execution of key cross-functional projects and initiatives and engage with key teams across BlackRock such as technology teams, legal and compliance teams and BlackRock operational teams. Provide business management support to Client Solutions and facilitate the delivery of the firms capabilities and services to clients;Develop and maintain strong relationships with all functional teams in Client Solutions including interaction and alignment with the global Client Solutions platform;Interact with key business partners in Technology, Legal, Compliance and other internal teams to improve connectivity and results across functions;Assist with a range of strategic projects and ad hoc tasks, allowing for variation in role;Aid with identifying potential process improvement opportunities, driving process change and helping deliver the benefits to the business;Support the design and production of management information to help ccoordinate and monitor business plans including business goals, objectives and metrics in partnership with the functional leads and other stakeholders;Contribute to Business Continuity Planning in coordination with the global Client Solutions team;Manage critical controls e.g. permission access and platform certification process, protecting sensitive information, compliance with regulatory requests and requirements. Key skills (core requirements for the role)Demonstrated record of academic achievement;Highly professional and organized individual committed to excellence;Strong analytical, organizational, planning and time management skills; ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines in a high-pressure environment;Demonstration of self-motivation, ability to drive forward work plan under little supervision as well as effective team working practices;Ability to develop strong, trust-based relationships with internal parties;Ability to influence and direct resources;Confident and intellectually curious, challenges quality and accuracy of data, processes and information;High standard of accuracy with a strong orientation towards detail and problem solving ;Effective communicator, possesses excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to interact with senior leadership;Advanced Microsoft office skills essential (Word, Excel and Power-point).
