Being adept in driving resolution of customer issues and bug fixes, acting as customer advocate, adhering to support service standards, and working well in front of customers.Managing Tier 3 delivery or production issuesEscalating customer issues as appropriate, drive issues to resolutionPrioritizing and resolving numerous issues of varying severity within defined service levels.Developing a deep understanding of how to operate eMeter software end-to-endManage the deployment of eMeter software and maintenance upgradesAdvocate for customer requirements into eMeters Engineering and Product teamsProvide client-facing support for escalated software bugs and operational issuesEnsure adherence to eMeter s professional standards and processesDrive process improvements, tool development, and documentation to propel the software support processA self-starter, professional, friendly, and reliable with a can do attitude.Must be a good communicator with an eye for detail.Mandatory Technical Skills/ExperienceBE in Computer Science or equivalent4-6 years of experience in a level 2/level 3 customer support or delivery service team for a high-tech companyStrong problem solving and software troubleshooting skillsWorking knowledge of UNIX in a Windows environmentUnix navigation preferably on multiple platforms including AIX, RedHat Linux, SolarisGood understanding of Shell ScriptingTechnical troubleshooting skills of large RDBMS Oracle and/or DB2 systems with sound knowledge of SQL*PLUSKnowledge and preferably hands-on professional/enterprise experience in J2EE and XML standardsKnowledge of networking and the Internet TCP/IP, WWW, FTP, SMTP, TELNET, SSH, etc.Knowledge of web-enabled support toolsExperience leading teams, supporting complex business software, administration and/or installation of softwareAbility to effectively communicate technical issuesEnjoy working with customersAbility to prioritize and keep many competing interests happy with limited resources
Degree: MCA/ PGDCA

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering) | BCA (Computer Application)

Experience: 4-6
