Job Description Draft contracts for business in different jurisdictions across the globe based on the commercial requirements and company policy. Provide external customer ready contract review documents in line with the business functions preferences and requirements. Advise customers on legal contractual terms and bring it in sync with business requirements. Lead negotiations on legal/ commercial terms with external customers when required by business or L&C for both sales and sourcing side. Capable of working on a global front on assignments across poles EMEA, APAC and Americas. Take on and own full range of customer/ vendor facing contracts responsibilities. Manage the assigned customers, coordinate with business and L&C stakeholders and be responsible for the quality and timelines of the deliverable for self and team. Can provide independent legal assistance to support General Counsels needs in connection with a broad range of sales and procurement transactions including legal counsel support in activities such as litigation support, M&A activity, legal research, etc. Leverages collaborative networks and experiences to increase functional knowledge and expertise. Drives process improvement and productivity initiatives in collaboration with people leaders. Makes significant contribution to Knowledge Management practices. Skills & Experience Bachelor degree in Law with post qualification 4+ years of experience in commercial contract drafting, review and negotiations out which 3 years should be in a multinational company with hands on experience of working on contracts globally, preferably on engineering and technical side contracts. Understanding of the business requirements in contracts for sales, support, services, maintenance and procurement of engineering and technical products and services. Superior communications skills (both oral and written); ability to anticipate informational needs of diverse audiences and tailor communications appropriately. Excellent interpersonal, organization, and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to influence and deal tactfully and confidentially with internal and external customers at all organizational levels in a dynamic environment. Integrity and strong focus on compliance with internal standards and policies ability to proactively provide guidance to contract management personnel or internal customers as needed. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excellent knowledge of foreign legal systems especially on contract related matters. Fully familiar with the usage of tools and resources for legal research like LexisNexis, Manupatra, Westlaw, etc
