As an Associate you will be responsible for delivering on the specific tasks and reporting requirements of the Global Real Assets Financial Team. Your primary responsibilities will include the following Month end property/vessel financial statements review, GAAP adjustments, variance analysis, Asset and debt appraisals. Financial reporting and reconciliations. Fair knowledge and understanding of the IFRS reporting. Debt & Swap Fair valuations & Mark to Market calculations. Analysis of financial statements and other financial reports of real asset investments to determine reasonability, accuracy and completeness Knowledge and understanding of accounting concepts like Deferred Tax & Impairment Detailed performance reporting for various Separate Account Clients Support financial due diligence for property/vessel acquisition/disposition. Yearly budget review, approvals and creation of budget templates. Loan Covenant reporting & client reporting. Provide requisite financial information to auditors. Calculate property/vessel NAVs and IRRs. Other allied financial procedures and catering to any Adhoc requests from senior Management (MD) & financial controllers in onshore. Communicate with various external parties and take ownership of the review of critical business and financial information received. Qualified CA - with minimum of Five years of relevant work experience preferably in IFRS reporting Good Understanding of the Shipping business and Concepts Knowledge of Private Equity Fund Structures and Fund Accounting. Experience in review of Financial statements and Variance analysis Good analytical skills, eye for numbers. Ability to interrogate and interpret financial reports. Strong accounting knowledge. Proficient to advance usage of MS Office applications. Good Excel skills (i.e. data manipulation, Macros, v-lookups, array formulas, pivot tables) and MS PowerPoint. Good communication skills. Lead by initiative and out of the box thinking to address complex business issues. Self starter able to prioritize key tasks effectively.
