Core CompetenciesChannel / alliance sales, ability to carry sales targets, partner account management, market research, customer engagement, CRM tools and SMB & large enterprise sales.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with existing and prospective channel partners such as Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Systems Integrators (SIs) & Value-Added Resellers (VARs) in promoting and selling Linkstreet solutions.Engage potential partners primarily generated from outbound calling along with networking, marketing activities and referrals.Successfully position the benefits of Collaborative Learning in an effort to acquire new customers, bring them on board, enable them, and make them productive.Work closely with business unit leaders on the negotiation of pricing, terms and conditions and other key agreement components.Consistently drive new opportunities and revenue through new and existing partnerships.Collaborate with other sellers and solution engineers to deliver solutions accurately.Manages personnel and develops sales and sales support staff.Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.Maintaining and developing relationships with existing & potential customers in person and via calls, emails & Field visits.Negotiating commercial terms to close sales.Gathering market and customer information.Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and conferences.Understanding customer objections and addressing them.Cross selling and Up-selling to new & existing customers.Analyse customer buying trends and provide forecasts.Ensure that the assigned sales targets are met.RequirementsBachelor s DegreeAt least 5+ years experience in a consultative sales or business development role within the software industry.At least 5+ years experience in working with cross functional teams building a go-to-market (GTM) plan and executing that plan.At least 5+ years experience in identifying and nurturing channel partnerships including ISVs, SIs and VARs that will drive innovation and transform a marketplace.Readiness to travel 50% travel annually.Good to havePrior experience in consultative sales or business development role within the software industry.Domain experience in retail, healthcare, education or financial services.
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
