Under general supervision, the Customer Care Application Support Analyst will serve as a level 2 support technician for how the Sabre AirCentre Airport Management suite of applications are designed, communicate, and perform while within expected norms. The application support analyst will help troubleshoot, resolve and identify root causes for issues involving the Sabre AirCentre Airport Management system Qualified candidates will have experience in general understanding and troubleshooting application communications, client-server architectures, web-based architectures, server/database connectivity, stored procedure calls, web-services that user XML messaging as well as the ability to identify trends and perform root cause analysis Candidates who have Airport Resource Management or Airline experience or have been in customer service/support roles for the travel industry are preferred but, not required Expectations of the role include Develop an in depth functional and technical understanding, including needs of client users and client business processes, of the Sabre AirCentre Airport Management suite and its value in the Airline industry Develop a strong technical understanding of the Sabre AirCentre Airport Management applications and all connected interfaces Work collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive improvements/address challenges Address customer inquiries/issues via case-based workflow system (Siebel CRM) and meet response / resolution targets and goals Shift based (with flexibility) and on-call duties are required in self-starting and self-managing small and distributed team environment Recognize and adapt to communication styles required by a global clientele About 10% travel requirement Qualifications Requirements Bachelors degree or equivalent technical experience Two years experience in technical support role Proven analytical skills and ability to understand and explain complex data, technical and business process relationships Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English communication Strong interpersonal and customer management skills Preferred technology experiences include supporting applications relying on Windows .NET/C++ Framework Oracle PL/SQL packages/procedures Internet facing web applications and web services TCP/IP networks XML messaging High Availability load balancing
Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering) | B.Sc. (Science)
