The position reports to the Manager, Maritime Logistics, India. The Project Manager will work closely with the India Business Stream Managers, Overseas Offices, appointed Overseas Agents, Sales and Marketing, Sales and Customer Services, Project Exporters, Project Importers, Forwarders, Brokers in the local market.Main responsibilitiesFor a portfolio of offers (projects/services), which may vary from time to timeBe the champion for the offer and professionally drive the Projects to manage the offer.Continuously monitor and drive to manage the Project marketing mix of the offer, particularly price positioning and project promotional activities to drive profitable growth.Monitor the competitive landscape and establish tactical or strategic measures for the offer to protect and build our market share.Work on potential new offers as agreed with the Manager-Maritime Logistics, in accordance to the Governance/Compliance to an agreed stage gate.Develop existing offer and new offers by using the established offer development processManage and monitor changes in applicable Rules and Regulations affecting the offer and take proper action in consultation with the Manager-Maritime Logistics.Be the Maritime Logistics Project expert towards our market.To report on performance, customer development and take corrective actionsTo ensure excellent team approach between sales and customer servicesTo develop a comprehensive understanding of the strategy and efficiently implement within the area of responsibility.To ensure full compliance with the sales governanceTo ensure that full and accurate information is available to the Manager-Maritime LogisticsTo ensure to keep customer information system in place duly updated to include visit reports, opportunities, contracts etc.,Ensure fully support and report according to the process towards accidents/incidents investigation and reporting, customer complaints handling, improvement potentials registering; and audit findings follow upContribute towards the management review processSupport local QHSSE manager to attain yearly QHSSE targets through training, advising, participating in work related to risk management; safety meetings; regulations and compliance reviews;emergency/contingency preparationFacilitate process management and document management to secure GIMS as an effective continuous management tool and contributing to standardized ways of working in the countryAccountabilitiesThis position will be measured against-SalesRevenue target vs. AchievementCustomer Credit Time/OutstandingCompliance with the activity planCompetence DevelopmentEffective project offer development planning, coordination and launch in a timely manner as agreed as per KPIOverall accountable for all QHSSE matters related to the specified function and department
