Responsibilities Overall process owner for automation and electrical engineering.To develop technically and commercially Plant Automation solutions (hardware and software) Continually evolve the working practices within the centre to improve efficiency and productivity when producing software and documentation.To drive and implement rigorous quality standards for all aspects of the automation delivery from initial concept to final commissioning and handover. Design and Software Reviews of projects for most projects, including adherence to the TP Quality SystemTo ensure quality of deliverables for projects Participation and technical contribution to customer and sales meetingsTo drive productivity and risk management. To capitalise on business opportunities in clusters being served thereby ensuring high occupancy of resources.To participate in, and drive development of automation strategy in line with standards rolled out by TP Automation Solutions. To effectively manage the automation engineering resources to deliver complex multiple projects on time and to budgetManage sub-contract resource, and ensure compliance with all relevant Tetra Pak software quality standards Production of Functional and Software Design Specifications. PLC Software and SCADA configuration, Factory and Site based testing including production of all test documentation and on site commissioning.Collaborate with counterparts in other Global Project hub to ensure consistency of delivery from Global Projects. Continuous build up of competency.Recruitment. To ensure close collaboration with GP Process Design Manager and Market Company Sales Leaders.To develop sub vendors to tide over resource crunch during peaks. To contribute to the development of relevant working procedures, templates and standards.To secure customer satisfaction.Key Contacts External customers, interfacing primarily with customers project managers & production staff, during both the sales and contract execution phases.Project Managers within Tetra Pak Market Companies and Global Projects. Your counterparts throughout the Tetra Pak organisationBusiness Development Account Managers Process Design ManagerProduct & Automation Specialists in the Tetra Pak Product Companies Technical Sales & service Hub Manager.Educational qualificationsB.E. / B. Tech. Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electrical/ Automation EngineeringProfessional Skills and ExperienceMinimum of 15 years of practical experience working as Automation Engineer/Lead Engineer delivering to Process Control System requirements. Additionally, atleast 3 -5 years of experience in a supervisory role with direct reportees.Familiarity with S88/S95 Knowledge of DCS/PLC/SCADA systems.Knowledge of Historians and MES systems and networks. Knowledge of Ethernet networking and field bus systems such as Profibus, Asi, Control-Net, Device-Net etcContractual and commercial awareness Skilled with the preparation of tenders for automation/electrical solutionsExperience of implementing automation/electrical solutions and writing software code Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.Effective coach Proven leadership and motivation skillsAble to communicate with customers at all levels and capable of managing their expectations
Degree: MBA/ PGDM

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering)

Experience: 15-20
