Charterhouse is working with a well renowned international law firm who have an excellent opportunity in their Dubai office for an experienced Banking and Finance Associate to join their team. The banking team has built up an excellent client base of lenders and borrowers and they are on the panel of national and international banks as well as more specialist finance houses. The services offered by the banking team include finance involving shariah compliant structures, asset finance, acquisition and trade finance alongside property finance, restructuring of debt and equity and project finance. The successful candidate should have 1 to 3 years post qualified experience. Broad experience of general banking law, including Islamic finance is highly desirable for this position. You should be educated and admitted to practice in either the UK or Australia and have completed your training at either a Magic Circle or Top Tier firm. Arabic skills are not essential, however they will boost the application.
