Key Accountabilities and Skills required Leading the wider HR Operations team, the role holder will provide feedback for the enhancement of onboarding experience whilst driving the team against the following work streams EMPLOYEE INDUCTION MANAGEMENT (25% ) The role holder will play an integral role in governing the induction process through Monitoring the key work streams of the induction program via induction candidate feedback score and will build implementation plan for delivery and will drive the same. Driving team to deliver personalize experience to new joiners and to proactively handle queries their queries The role holder should have good negotiation skills to buy time from India Leadership team to take interest in participating in the program and also help team build innovative platforms for candidates to have a best in class onboarding experience. The role holder should support the team to know best practices and knowledge sharing with other geographies leads. The role holder will have authority and will be accountable for Induction program and will ensure that all local regulatory and Barclays specific forms are duly filled by candidate to utmost accuracy and completeness The candidate should be planning for the area that are highlighted as challenge by the local leadership members and ensure to drive its positive execution and monitor the timely closure. The candidate will be face of India and should have skills to present the subjective and objective themes into Management Information & its meaningful inference basis on analysis of the available data points The candidate should be a go getter and should have ability to communicate with client and business and build a healthy rapport to discuss about improvements areas and take ownership of its plan for execution and be able to influence the global leads and local business owner to sponsor the change. Candidate should understand all stakeholder requirements and helps business achieves their targets and also should be able say no to non HR Services activities however continue to carry a healthy relationship. Leading by example and maintaining the highest output standards for Induction quality. Setting the standards for the team to emulate. The role will focus on understanding of the business need and try to see from the others lenses and understand what better can be done. EMPLOYEE CONTRACT GOVERNANCE & DOCUEMENT MANAGEMENT (15%) The onboarding lead will offer value add and specialist consultancy support in the delivery of India One contract solutions ensuring that the contact safeguard Barclays interests and also saves Barclays from all litigation and it is simple to understand and comprehensive. The candidate as such will regularly drive the following, but not limited his/her role to the following activities. System utilization and data accuracy Negotiate with all stakeholders within India to drive Taleo to be accepted as One Golden source for all purpose. Contract Governance The candidate will be go-to person for all employee contracts across India to drive utmost accuracy for all type of contact generation. Contact change due to selection via Barclays Internal Job Board Candidate to ensure that the team takes special care in governance of timely and accurate generation, explaining the Change to the candidate and taking acceptance of candidate and ensure all systems and process takes feed in advance to reflect the change in timely manner. The resource will also ensure that benefit offered is provided to payroll and other departments for smooth payout. Candidate will go extra mile to understand and explore ventures to find best practice and benefits being offered in the competitive market. Driving efficiency and Changes Review and advise HRBPs, Resourcing , Business lead and HR Services Leadership team around contract generation aspects in respect to any regulatory change at India level to avoid people risk within the business clusters. Drive efficiency and automation to remove manual task that takes high bandwidth of the team. At no point to encourage manual ways of performing day job or AdHoc. Candidate to help team in building platform to deliver best in class business support; candidate will need to work collaboratively across the India and other geographies, understanding Global contract framework and ensure that the India contract covers all relevant details. In addition, the Heads of HR and Head of HRS will seek support in getting analysis on % various tends of hiring (direct hiring, campus, grad, consultants, referrals etc). Overall, proactively seek feedback on the quality, format and content of the contracts being issued to ensure it continues to meet their needs and exceeds stakeholder expectations. MI & Reporting Where required, presenting information in a high quality, clear, visually rich report format which includes insightful commentary, trend analysis and draws out concise recommendations and improvements that can be implemented within the all cluster in India. The role will require however not limit to the following. Ensure that the team capture all copies of document as per local law and PSDE framework and a rigorous governance framework is in place to avoid misses. Ensure team perform maker checker concept limit risk of any errors. BACKGROUND VERIFICATION GOVERNANCE & KNOWLEDGE (25%) Candidate will need to drive team to follow the Background Verification process for new joiners and keeping up to date with new regulations and changes in the external environment.
