Key responsibilitiesLead the Fund Reporting Production teamAll facets of people management to be performed including coaching and development of staff, leading and motivating as well as performing goal-settings, 1-1s, mid-year and year-end staff reviewsKey contributor to the Gurgaon leadership team ensuring appropriate staffing model, depth charts and succession plans are assessed across the locationPerform control and risk oversight for all functions performed within team including but not limited to;Highly complex data management and reporting; creating and updating unique and targeted graphs, tables, charts and reports for funds using various software applications.Identifying, managing and mitigating operational risksEscalating risk and service issues on a timely basisUnderstanding and adherence for all regulatory requirementsUnderstand flow of client and fund information and data between various groups and systems.Accurately record metrics related to responsibilities to enable management to have a good view of team productivity and efficiencyChampioning change within the team and participating/ leading various efficiency and capacity-building initiatives, including automation/ standardization efforts, cost/benefit analysis and computing the resulting project ROIDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key internal & external stakeholders including; leading & coordinating problem resolutionSet up operations/escalation protocols, Maintain accurate and current desktop proceduresEmbracing the BlackRock Principles and role modelling these behaviours to other team membersSkillsProficiency in Microsoft office products (with an emphasis on Excel) or other programming languages and an aptitude for learning new applicationsStrong, effective analytical and problem solving skillsAttention to detail to ensure a high degree of accuracy for all deliverablesExcellent communication skills to effectively articulate solutions to internal and external stakeholdersAbility to multi-task and balance deliverables without losing sight of overall objectives and deadlinesDemonstration of strategic & tactical delivery in previous role(s) which would have enhanced the efficiency, risk management and control oversight of team(s) managedExceptional decision making skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior managementAbility to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and global team membersCapability to assist in creating a team vision, planning and executing steps to ensure a consistently high performing teamAbility to work in a fast paced, rapid changing, deadline driven environmentStrong initiative to follow up on outstanding issues identify what needs to be done and take action and see through to resolution
