The Business Development Executive is responsible for managing, implementing, and deploying new business processes and partnerships to increase sales and industry reach. This position offers a true ground-floor opportunity for an experienced Business Development Executive to join our exciting, fast growing company.A Business Development Executive usually performs many of the following tasksProfessionally and effectively employs sales skills to achieve targeted sales.Research and Maintain an accurate & current database.Identify and develop sources of potential clients.Effectively communicate with clients to gain commitment to generate leads.Increase the level of sales and business mix from individual clients.Effectively communicate with clients via telephone, face-to-face and written communication.Develop and maintain relationships which benefit both client.Feedback/comments relating to product content and pricing as well as company performance.Advise Managing Director and Sales and Marketing Director of client.Provide a weekly schedule of planned activities.Achieve sales activities within specified time scales.Be able to match appropriate products to clients requirements.Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of competitor products, be able to highlight their disadvantages and promote relevant benefits.Provide time-phased, qualified reports on achievement and activities.Maintain accurate records of all contacts with clients.Handle correspondence related to all selling activities.Maintain high standard of personal presentation.Undertake all responsibilities with reference to procedures.Desired Skills & ExperienceBachelors/Masters Degree in business administration or Equivalent.2+ years prior work experience in Sales, Business Development or related positions.Demonstrated results in meeting Sales quotas or Business Development goals.Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Excellent written and verbal communications skills.Experience leading and motivating a team and driving results.Knowledge of the sales process with the ability to understand and interpret customer needs using fact-finding to identify sales opportunities.An effective team player with a strong work ethic.Strong knowledge of IT Industry.Experience with training and staff development
