RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and lead India's growth partnerships and business development efforts leading to growthIdentify strategic partners in private and public sectors, new distribution channels, co-marketing partnerships and additional ways for us to scale in IndiaUnderstand a potential partner's business or strategic goals and deliver a plan for how to help achieve their/our objectives for mutual successDevelop and manage all aspects of relationships with strategic and growth partnersPlay an on-the-ground leadership role in scaling our growth initiatives by taking ownership of effective deployments with growth partnersBuild relationships founded on trust and integrity to facilitate opportunitiesBe a thought partner/leader on India market development strategy within the companyProvide feedback and input on product roadmap for India marketREQUIREMENTS8+ years of business development experience driving strategic partnerships that drive growth including distribution deals, co-marketing partnerships and much moreExisting strong relationships with decision makers across business development and marketing functions in enterprises, government departments at national and state level and top academic institutionsExtensive experience in initiating and executing BD efforts including deal structuring, negotiations, etc.Exceptional problem-solving skills & strong, data-driven strategic thinkingAbility to execute independently and to be resourcefulExceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skillsCreative and open to new ideasPassionate about helping othersNegotiates fiercely and protects and nurtures relationshipsComfortable with autonomy and uncertaintyAbility to get things doneMust be willing to travelPassion for education
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
