Responsible for growing business in India, specifically 1. Sales growth and Profitability. 2. Sales administration. 3. Market Research by Industry Segment, by Product Lines, by geographical location. 4. Identify target customers OEMs, Large End Users and Dealers. 5. Develop and execute strategies (Product, Price, Distribution & Promotion) to grow the business. 6. Develop annual budgets and tactical plans to meet company objectives. 7. Lead and develop a sales team. 8. Establish and manage a dealer network. Contacts (internal / external) Works closely with peers and colleagues in manufacturing, finance and other functions, both at local and global levels to achieve company objectives. Maintains good relationship with all customers and channel partners. Skills (manual, self-expression, planning, organizing) Self-driven, results oriented, organized and multitasking abilities. Ability to assess market situation and take appropriate decisions proactively, internally and externally. Manage sales team and also the distribution network. Experience in formulating pricing strategies and a performance related rewards program for the dealers. Maintains a broad knowledge of sales adjacent activities including Product Development, Quality, Manufacturing and Supply Chain and can operate within a matrix organization with these groups to achieve collective objectives. Guided with strategic objectives, policies and mid and long-term business goals, acts independently within the scope of responsibility. Works with influence, team building and empowering approaches to motivate and drive cultural change to meet or exceed Company expectations. Education / Experience (minimum required) Has acquired a high level educational degree in Engineering. MBA degree will be an advantage. Must have proven and successful experience as a Manager, managing business and also a team. Has excellent knowledge about Indian engineering industry, especially in industrial consumables. Experience in managing business with OEMs, End Users and Distributors. Knowledge of India tax structure, sales policies and regulations. Experience in Engineering Industry, consumables like Bearings, Belts, etc. Experience in price / terms negotiations with customers and service providers. Has a proven track record and minimum 10 years' experience in managing a mid-d business, out of which at least 5 years at the national level. Must be fluent in the English and Hindi.
