We are seeking applications for the position of a Business Development Manager.
Job responsibilities:
Your role will involve researching new business opportunities and potential client development strategies.
To generate new projects by developing and maintaining relationships with existing and/or new clients.
To act as the point of contact for new business leads/clients.
To prepare time schedules, fee & scope estimations with support from the Management team.
To assess and develop recommendations for potential new projects.
To manage client relations and host client visits.
To assist in contract negotiations.
To represent the company at selected conferences, lectures, events.
To assist in market research and development of marketing material.
Responsible for proactively providing business development progress reports on a weekly basis to the Management.
To work in conjunction with the Management to develop short- and long-range business development plans.
To identify those regions that will require architectural services provided by the company and maintain focus on growing the business.


Previous experience from similar or related position. 10 + years experience in business development in architectural consultancies / contractors / interior design firms etc. Bachelor degree in either marketing, business, communication, and/or architecture. Fluency in English and Arabic - spoken and written. (Lebanese / Syrians preferred). A passion for architecture and knowledge of design and culture. Excellent writing and presentation skills. To have the expertise to develop and champion the company through networking, marketing and new business development. A proactive attitude with regards to new leads and contacts. Strong client liaison capabilities and excellent internal communication skills. The ability to create bespoke responses to complex client requirements. Database management skills. An interest and affinity with market research. An understanding of architecture, building procedures and urban planning is recommended. Self-discipline and confidence in an ad hoc environment. Ability to prioritise tasks and effectively juggle multiple deadlines.
