ResponsibilitiesProvide consultative approach to the clients by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishmentsLocates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.Screens potential business deals by analyzing technologies and solutions available, proposing marketing strategies, gathering project requirements, identifying business potential and provide suggestions and recommendations, financials and evaluating optionsDevelops negotiating strategies in sync with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating clients needs and goals.Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.Protects organization s value by keeping information confidential.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.SkillsMinimum 4 years of experience of Web based Business development managerGenerating new fresh leads and business for web-based services through Online bidding portals like ElanceBe a part of complete sales process starting from Bidding, negotiating and closure of the dealActively getting on calls with the clients to discuss, negotiate and close dealsEmail writing skillsAchieve sales targets and generate revenues for the organizationCold calling leads/prospects in a Business-to-Business sales environment. Excellent telephone manners & tactfulnessIncreasing the volume of business from the existing client(s) by pitching on a new set of services at different time.To act as catalyst between client and development team.Account handling of existing as well as new clients for cross selling & up-selling.Working with a team of developers and managers to implement full project lifecycle development.Managing prospects and client throughout the project development lifecycle.Building and maintaining healthy business relations with clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction matrices by achieving delivery & service quality norms.Ensuring speedy resolution of queries & grievances to maximize client satisfaction levels.
Degree: MBA/ PGDM

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering)
