The Business DevelopmentManager will lead project teams to deliver multiple, simultaneous projects that span across several business or technology areas. The candidate will be expected to effectively manage resources, schedule and quality of deliverables through the full project life cycle (discovery, analysis, design, construction, test and implementation.) The candidate will often work in close coordination with marketing teams successfully manage and deliver applications to existing and new partners. TheManager will also be expected to contribute to the development of a project management methodology and assist in the construction of a formalized program office. This position is a unique opportunity with a cutting edge industry software and services company to lead and build the development department and be a part of the Companys management team.Company is seeking a person who is creative and energetic, with experience developing business applications for external markets, architecting and product design, managing a team of developers, and with a willingness to learn the business aspects of a market. Individual will have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work with all levels of personnel including company executives, marketing, product manager, technical support, and customer support.Required Experience/Skills To be considered, you MUST have a proven track record and the following skills and abilitiesLong term strategic planning with Company s management teamIdentify and develop opportunities with selected ClientsManaging Product Development, Product design and product architectureWorking with Product Management for market requirementsExcellent project management skills gained from managing complex projects from initiation through to deliveryMaintaining disciplined development processes and timely delivery of high quality productsStrong record of demonstrated success in account management and growthStrong record of demonstrated success in winning and managing new accountsUnderstanding of the IT industry and the full project life cycleAbility to discover new opportunities while expanding existing accountsDemonstrable experience as part of a major quality initiative to improve data and processes is required with significant involvement in a major change programBe accustomed to working to deadlines to realize the business benefits associated with IT projects as early as possibleHave proven interpersonal skills to establish excellent working relationships with a wide variety of peopleHave excellent communication skills to ensure relevant information about the project flows to the right recipientsBe structured, systematic and analytical in their approachAggressiveapproach to business development and selling to new clients
