The ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning Forward plan on boarding pipeline with FX sales and trading heads in line with FX business strategy and priorities. Business Model Ensure proper business ownership for each on boarded client. Ensure business cost centres are approved for expenditure before any additional paid connectivity is implemented such as leased lines or co-location. Governance Create and maintain an effective and efficient governance structure across Client On-boarding interfacing with other teams e.g. Client Services and Infrastructure teams Culture Define, drive and shape the culture of the business to embed strategic goals throughout all levels particular emphasis on client focus, high performance business, strong control and systems monitoring, engaged and empowered multi-regional workforce. Financial Delivery Ensure Client On-boarding delivers acceptable connectivity performance within acceptable risk parameters, maximizing RoE by better than competition price and trading performance, and managing costs and infrastructure risks. Efficiency and Cost Management Drive disciplined cost management and a culture of cost consciousness and operational excellence, reusing existing connectivity where possible, optimising current infrastructure so that it is leveraged to capacity. For example ensure appropriate price throttles are agreed and enforced to maximise line speeds without breaching capacity limits. Financial Management and Budgeting Ensure Client On-boarding communicate closely with budget planning managers to ensure implementation of financial management disciplines which allow the timely and prospective management of infrastructure, hardware, and licensing resources. Customer Delivery Ensure timely delivery of commitments to RBS FIX clients. Reputation Build, safeguard and uphold the reputation of RBS Group across all stakeholders clients, vendors, data centres, line providers, telcos, etc. Regulatory Relations Be aware of regulatory requirements when liaising with sensitive client data and external providers. Line of Defence To be accountable for owning and managing, within a defined risk appetite, the risks which exist in Client Onboarding Establish and maintain risk assessments including DMZ penetration testing to identify and assess the security risks that arise in relation to open connectivity models Comply with relevant Group Policies, testing and certifying the adequacy and effectiveness of controls highlighted by penetration testing results on a regular basis Establish and document Client Onboarding procedures Risk Culture Promote and embody appropriate business and risk aware behaviours and compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements and RBS Group policies Business Continuity Ensure adequate Business Continuity plans are maintained and tested for FIX Client Connectivity.The Requirements Essential Experience (Must have)FIX protocol expertiseSSL and network infrastructurePrior on-boarding experience with at least one major vendor or FIX engineExcellent client facing skillsFront office i-banking experience in global teamsFIX client on-boarding experienceExcellent communication skillsStrong self-management and multitasking skillsSupplementary Experience (Good to have)JavaFIX Engine like Cameron or any other.UnixSplunk or EquivalentFamiliarity with FX order lifecycle
Degree: MCA/ PGDCA | ME/ M.Tech./ MS (Engg/ Sciences)

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering) | BCA (Computer Application)
