Responsibilities and accountabilities of the position Set AP DCG Channel Strategy and drive consistency across all geographies in alignment with our regional and WW Channel team Define and roll out ww Partner programs, which include tier program, recruitment, training, incentive, enablement, go to market, etc. to attract and motivate partners to increase SOW Look at current tools and work with BT/IT to make enhancement to meet our needs and to improve user experience Improve end-to-end partner experience to gain partner satisfaction Look into the participation of external events to build brand and to recruit partners Establish global and regional business partner events (e.g., Lenovo NAs Accelerate event) to drive programmatic partner programs, enablement and training Engage with BU and incubation team to build collaborative channel plays to drive profit levers Bring best practices in 4P planning Drive a worldwide Lenovo DCG channel sales cadence to meet assigned target Represent DCG in all Lenovo channel strategy, program, and execution requirements Working closely with AP regions/countries , identify top partners with clear growth plansPosition RequirementsWork Experience - Over 10 years experience in channel sales and management, preferably in server or storage industryKey Functional Competencies Proven record in setting and implementing channel programs Experience in leading a team across geographies Must have leadership qualities, managing people skills and sensitivity to different cultureKey Behavioral competencies Strong communication skills at senior management internally and externally. Can rally and drive a team to rise to challenges and perform. Can work well under pressure and look to problem solve Strong analytical ability Strong planning and organizing skills.
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
