The role requires an innovator, a trendsetter, a progressive thinker who can connect online and offline initiatives to grow the companys business exponentially.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. To direct, manage, monitor and control all aspects related to the day to day operating activities, including revenue and sales growth, expenses, cost and margin control, monthly, quarterly and annual financial goal management. Accountable for the business P&L. 2. Responsible for the development and preparation of short term and long range plans and budgets based upon broad organization goals and objectives. Establish performance goals, allocate resources, and assess policies for senior management.3. Enhance organisations governance and control by directing the development and execution of procedures, promote communication flow, and thereby solidify the direction of the business.4. Plan and execute best in class operational activities including overall Customer Experience, Design Aesthetics, Content, Navigation, Information Architecture, Branding, Marketing, Sales, Performance, Functionality, etc.5. Lead and manage the internal team including all major divisions like Sales, Marketing, Product, Technology, Merchandising, Operations, Customer Support, Finance, Admin, HR, etc.Recruit, assess, train, mentor, develop and manage the team.REQUIRED SKILLS1. A believer in operational excellence with proven history of growth with profit and loss management.2. An effective leader with abilities in recruiting, directing, leading and motivating a team.3. Cross functional knowledge ranging from technology, marketing, sales, customer experience, operations, finance, etc.4. Strong business acumen with a preferred expertise in a digital, mobile or an E-commerce business with key focus on top line, profitability and operational metrics for increased growth and efficiency.5. Self-motivated and able to drive a business and brand from a start-up to an FMCG category leader.
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
