Gain a strong understanding of current Operational models and associated priorities for changeBuild a strong working relationship with the business and other stakeholders across multiple lines of businessParticipate in the high level design of solutions with stakeholders then manage them to completionWorking closely with functions across J. P. Morgan globally and market partners to define the current process, system and organizational landscape, key pain points and opportunities for cost and efficiency savingsRequired characteristics & abilitiesWorking with Products, Technology and Operation organisations to analyse the current operating model and define the target business operating modelWorking with Change and projects to develop an architecture roadmap which articulates how the project portfolio implements the target state architectureEliciting and analysing large quantities of data to identify trends and areas of opportunity to help support recommendationsDeveloping and documentation of business flows benchmarking against firm wide operating modelsCommunicating regular status updates to senior management within the BusinessCoaching junior team members and managing their contributions to the group s wider objectivesQualifications Required Skills and QualificationsWe are looking for a motivated, high performing individual with experience in either an Operations or Technology based environment within the financial services industry.Working business knowledge of one or more areas of a Corporate and Investment bank with a good understanding of trade lifecycle, finance or risk is required. Familiarity with wider financial services landscape, including regulation, utilities and vendorsPrevious experience of large strategic programs from an Investment Bank, Corporate Bank or Management Consultancy background desirablePrior experience of project delivery, business analysis is a key requirementExpertise in data analysis and manipulation to support hypothesis generationProficiency in Excel and ability to clearly storyboard using PowerPoint is essentialPartners well with other groups sat outside of the teams reporting line; excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate clearly and confidently across multiple aspects of the organization at all levels; confidence in communicating with managementLogical, structured approach to planning, problem solving and decision-makingSolid awareness of controls and risk management protocolsSelf-starter with ability to manage own workload and deliverablesA good understanding of the different types of interest rate, equity and credit derivativesA good understanding of Fund Accounting
