Candidate Profile-* Listening to restaurant requirements and presenting appropriate solutions to make Articles - Page 3/ Stories in print in Bangalore Times * Ad sales in Food Guides* Maintaining and developing relationships with existing restaurants in person * Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;* Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets; * Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;* Gathering market and customer information;* Representing their company at various ATL/BTL activities which may be planned in the future; * Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;* Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal email process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer; * Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office,* Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets; * Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements;* Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations;* Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues. * Developing good contacts with restaurant management. PR Skills is the most important quality in a good Sales Executive. Background (essential and desired)Minimum 5 to 7 years experience in solid sales background.Sales background - preferably from FOOD portals, other newspapers, Sales in liquor industry, managing F&B venues.Excellent communication skills.Exp in managing a team.Preferred if has contacts within restaurant category. Education (essential and desired) Graduate.
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
