Perform & provide daily oversight on the processes.Resolve any daily resourcing issues that may arise to complete the functions before the deadline.Build and maintain a strong control & risk management environment. Ensure all risks, issues and control gaps are escalated appropriately as per daily procedures ensuring accountability is maintained until resolution.Ensure best practices are followed as part of the Team?s daily processing requirement.Help implement the department strategy working alongside the local and global teams and Senior Management.Manage primary relationships in other regions and resolve any issues that may arise.Proactively explore solutions to close control gaps and ensure adherence to existing control framework; regular review and understanding of procedures, checklists and reports to ensure they are accurate and currentContribute to Global functional business plans as well as successfully execute on the local business agenda.Establish broader networks to foster co-operation and build consensus in order to achieve business results.Ensure the completion of all clearing & regulatory activities on a timely basis to minimize the risk exposure to the firm and its clientsBe point of contact and escalation for CSGs, CRMs & Business Units. QUALIFICATIONSCOMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THE ROLECOMMERCIAL/ BUSINESS ORIENTATIONThe team works a split shift system. Therefore, flexibility on start/finish times will be required.After the initial training period, the successful individual will expect to work independently and proactively with minimal management supervision.Candidate should be a confident, well-rounded methodical person with good analytical skillsGood relationship building skillsTask orientated, inquisitive in nature and have an appetite to learnFUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGEKnowledge of listed derivatives Trade Support Group functions (or at least the concept of TSG functions) is an advantage.The individual will be expected to learn quickly to acquire the required technical/product knowledge.PROFESSIONAL SKILLS5-6+ years of experience in the financial industry within Operations rolesSenior level futures industry experience preferred; working for a Broker dealer and well versed with the Listed Derivatives markets preferred. Excellent communication skills with subordinates, peers and senior stakeholdersProven ability to work across Global departments to build credibility and strong relationshipsUnderstand and adapt to Regulatory and Industry changeProven track record of achieving results optimizing resources and driving efficiencies.Ability to analyze data to determine root causes of problemsExposure to strategic CTB & RTB initiatives impacting the Listed Derivatives markets will be an advantage.Pays attention to detail ? demonstrates excellent attention to detail when analyzing or interpreting data.Comprehends and reasons ? Displays well developed ability to comprehend, reason and process complex data.Breaks down problems ? into smaller, more manageable parts.Team player skills - to balance and prioritize between day-to-day activities; Works effectively in teams and broader networks to deliver resultsStrong PC /Advanced MS Excel skills,Strong communication / networking skills to interact with both internal / external parties Proactively escalates breaks and risk issues.
