Responsibilities mentioned are not restricted toThis position is responsible for managing supplier relationships and negotiating agreements globally. The results of this work are signed contracts, working capital improvements and productivity savings. 1.Productivity Identify high consumption materials globally for the key and critical suppliers. Negotiate with the suppliers and create agreement on pricing and other Honeywell sourcing & buying terms. 2.Benchmarking create a benchmarking process to baseline prices across various geographies for the critical categories of direct materials. 3.Easy for West strategy for global purchases Extract and analyze the consumption pattern of high spend components, their prices in different geographies from different suppliers. Identify and deploy the best sourcing strategy based on the results. Identify opportunities to aggregate the global purchase volume to get the highest savings. Identify opportunities to source the components from low cost regions. 4. Supplier development and relationship management Maintain relationship with the global account managers for key and critical suppliers. Identify potential/new suppliers and introduce them to business to mitigate the single/sole source cases. Introduce alternate makes to improve the productivity. 5.Global Volume Aggregation & Leverage to create and deploy sourcing strategies for the handled categoriesSynergy within PMT Work with the UOP CMs to identify the potential opportunities for synergy with HPS and drive productivity. 6.Prepare internal communications for leadership via management operating review.7.Analyze current sourcing strategy with deep data analysis to identify opportunities for productivity and communicate the same to the leadership within the SBG 8.Will also have partial buying responsibility for the sites which may include creating POs for critical requirements.QualificationsBachelors degree preferably Engineering(Mechanical or Electronics)5 plus years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Sourcing or other relevant field. True sourcing experience will be an advantage. Strong project leadership skills with the ability to close initiatives on time and within budget Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, use creative problem solving, stay customer focused, and be self-motivated Strong communication skills. Communicate clearly; balance listening and speaking; respect others while they speak and respond thoughtfully; reflect on people s concerns and is easy to talk to Exceed goals successfully; results-oriented Proven track record as a top performer PMP Certification preferred Six Sigma Green Belt certification
Degree: M.Com. (Commerce) | M.Pharm. (Pharmacy) | M.Sc. (Science) | MA (Arts) | MBA/ PGDM | MCA/ PGDCA

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering)
