DescriptionThe HR Operations team is responsible for foundational support for the entire HR function and other stakeholders across the firm for all activities related to the employee life cycle. An important focus of the team is to effectively and efficiently deliver HR services working closely with key stakeholders across HRThe contactHR team acts as the entry point to HR for all employees across BlackRock. They are responsible for managing HR inquiries and for managing employee life cycle activities including onboarding and changes throughout employment through to the exit process. In addition, the team are involved in a number of change projects to enhance the delivery of HR services across BlackRock.The VP of HR Operations in India will be responsible for leading the global contactHR team and building a global hub for contactHR for operational support in India. The position will be based in Gurgaon, India. The incumbent will be mandated to create and lead the contactHR Global team in India, as part of the firm s strategic initiative to transform HR globally ResponsibilitiesManage team of 10-15 individuals in Gurgaon location, 2-3 direct reportsWork closely with contactHR leaders across regions and global processesBuild strong relationships with regional and global HR stakeholders, including Business Partners; Recruiters; Rewards; Talent ManagementWork with stakeholders to understand their needs, satisfaction with services delivered, process flaws; recommend solutions and develop more effective and efficient ways to deliver servicesProvide leadership and transition support of key contactHR functions to India,Motivate and develop staff, encourage internal mobility and job rotationsDevelop and lead an Operational Excellence platform within the HR Operations global team, find new and better ways to deliver HR Services; extend the level of support provided to HR; cultivate a client service mindset across the teamProactively stay abreast of changes in HR Service Delivery, including new and emerging technologies and service delivery modelsManage projects including -- but not limited to process enhancements and technology toolsProactively communicate with stakeholders, employing successful change management techniquesParticipate in a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within contactHR and across other functionsProvide thought leadership and oversee the development of procedural documentation, training curriculum, foster an environment of reduced risk and enhanced controls
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
