Responsible for maintaining compliance for existing controls and contributing to the improvement of controlsWork with a diverse groups of application owners to develop and maintain a consistent and streamlined approach to meeting controls requirementsOperate a portfolio of controls, reporting on the status to the Control ownersEnsure compliance evidence is current and available for auditRespond effectively to close any gaps/deficiencies reportedAssure that the compliance requirements of country specific regulatory authorities are included in service agreements and are managed appropriately.Ensure E-Discovery requests and subpoenas are completed with chain of custody evidence and on time. Serve as operational focal point for requirements from various regulatory agencies and external regulatory standardsEnsure Downstream participation in Change Management, Configuration Management, and Service Level forums and networksManage Infrastructure and Application change approval processEnsure Data Quality in IT Asset Configuration tools; and contribute to the continuous improvement of the applicable processesDimensions and Special ChallengesDirect Reports 3Team including direct 11Virtual working in a global environment with culturally diverse team and working with multiple stakeholders in various organizationsThis position involves the Operation of Controls, and the requirement to provide evidence of compliance; which is subject to Audit. If out of compliance, Shell could be subject to regulatory fines and even jeopardize the companies License to OperateRequirementsQualifications and SkillsMandatoryA minimum of 12 years overall work experienceGraduate / Post Graduate with relevant experienceStrong relationship skills to work with multiple stakeholders across organizational and business boundaries at all levelsAttention to detail, determination and a drive to take ownershipStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to formulate/agree effective procedures and communicate them to a wide group of stakeholdersExperience with Audit procedures and good governance modelsStrong stakeholder, interpersonal relationship, and negotiation skillsProven ability to deliver results in a matrix organization driving delivery excellence through influence and team workingAbility to operate in a virtual cross cultural organizationAbility to deal with conflict and ambiguity effectivelyAbility to handle concurrent tasks with appropriate priority, authority and calmnessStrong relationship skills to work with multiple stakeholders across organizational and business boundaries at all levelsAbility to take calls outside of working hours to facilitate working in a global environment
Degree: MCA/ PGDCA | ME/ M.Tech./ MS (Engg/ Sciences)
