DescriptionFunctions / Day to day activitiesCurriculum Related1.Ensure proper implementation of the curriculum.2.Observe lessons in each subject area on a daily basis and provide timely feedback.3.Administer lessons in each subject area such that, it ensures constant touch with the students in each class.4.Check assessments /remarks and report cards.5.Accompany the teachers and students on Field Trips.Teacher Related 6.Conduct curriculum related workshops with teachers for effective delivery of curriculum.7.Evolve problem-solving strategies i.e. solutions for time planning.8.Guide the teachers to handle discipline related issues keeping in mind the KKEL philosophy.9.Observe all new teachers before recruiting and provide a feedback to the HR Executive.10.Induct new teachers as and when required.11.Substitute for the absent teacher, if required-assign an associate teacher( if available). 12.Conduct regular appraisals of the teaching staff as per the guidelines.13.Process leave application for the staff.14.Mentor the teachers as and when required.15.Ensure a professional conduct among the staff.Parent Related16.Discuss the child-related issues with the parents and teachers appropriately as per the guidelines applicable.Main Coordinator Related17.Seek curriculum related clarification, if any.18.Provide regular curriculum updates and feedbacks to be forwarded to the Main Cood.19.Prepare and submit daily log/report to the respective coordinator ( Preschool ,Primary, Middle School) as per the guidelines provided-including details in receiving the curriculum.School Related20.Plan/Organize /Coordinate all the events such as-Orientation, PTA, Field Trips, Sports Day, Annual Concert, Special Events, Culminating activities as per the guidelines.21.Liaise with the Special Educator for progress of the students under their observations. Modify the plans in consultation with the Sp Educator if necessary.22.Ensure that all soft boards are relevant and updated regularly in the respective floor.23.Approve/ Disapprove / process the requisitions made by the teachers (i.e. teaching aids, Xeroxes etc.) and forward the same to the respective department as per the guidelines laid down. 24.Ensure the environment is safe, secure and hygienic at all times.25.Participate in recommended training programs, conferences, courses, and other aspects of professional growth.26.Maintain all records as per the guidelines.27.Adhere to all the policies in force or introduced from time to time and actively implement the same.Student Related 28.Gear the program to the needs of every student with a concern for their interests, handicaps, special talents, individual styles and pace of learning.29.Share the responsibility of the emotional and physical well-being of each student in the respective grade level.30.Induct students when they join mid-term.31.Involve in the ongoing evaluation procedures needed to assess the developmental levels of the students.32.Attend all staff meetings & participate in the recommended training programs, conferences, courses and other aspects of professional growth.33.Assist in public-relation events and other special events sponsored by the school.34.Responsible for effective co-ordination within Departments assigned. 35.Adhere and implement the applicable policies in force.
Additional Degree: B.Ed. (Education)
