We're looking for talented Account Executives who will be responsible for prospecting and closing new business within an assigned territory. The AE will identify, nurture and close opportunities with both new and existing customers, manage forecasts and track customer data. The AE will work cooperatively with internal departments to improve the velocity of business and to create solutions that serve the best interests of our customers at MongoDB. We value high aptitude and great attitude over experience, so if you feel like you are the right fit for this dynamic team, please contact us.ResponsibilitiesMeet and exceed individual monthly, quarterly and annual sales goalsBecome an expert in managing your sales pipeline in SalesforceDrive subscription renewals and upselling in these opportunitiesCultivate sales through outbound prospecting and inbound leadsManage quote creation, order processing and day-to-day customer requestsWork with Marketing to conduct seminars, assist with trade shows, and other marketing related eventsRequirements4-7 years of experience in Sales; database or software preferredDemonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in a highly competitive environment (top 10% performer)Energetic, upbeat, entrepreneurial, tenacious team playerExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience working within a quota and commission structureExperience using Salesforce.comCollege degree or equivalent work experienceFamiliarity with database, web server, and open source technology a plus
